Why we send you to the bar, not our own list

Licence status changes — suspensions, reinstatements, retirements, discipline. Any copy we kept would be out of date the week after we made it, and an out-of-date answer about whether someone can legally represent you is worse than no answer. The bar’s record is updated by the regulator itself. It is the same source MOFRD verifies against.
