7 U.S.C. § 2009bb: Authorization of appropriations

There is authorized to be appropriated to the Authority to carry out this subchapter $40,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2025 through 2029, to remain available until expended. Not more than 5 percent of the amount appropriated under subsection (a) for a fiscal year shall be used for administrative expenses of the Authority. the aggregate amount of grants under this subchapter for the fiscal year; and the population of the State (as determined by the Secretary of Commerce based on the most recent decennial census for which data are available); bears to the population of the region (as so determined).
