42 U.S.C. § 11386c: Renewal funding and terms of assistance for permanent housing

under the appropriations account for this subchapter; or the section 8 [ 42 U.S.C. 1437f ] project-based rental assistance account. there is a demonstrated need for the project; and the project complies with program requirements and appropriate standards of housing quality and habitability, as determined by the Secretary. Nothing in this section shall be construed as prohibiting the Secretary from renewing contracts under this part in accordance with criteria set forth in a provision of this part other than this section.
