was wounded, gassed, injured, or disabled in the line of duty during time of war while in the service of the military or naval forces of the United States; and was honorably discharged or separated from that service or is still in active service in the Armed Forces of the United States; or was disabled while serving with any of the Armed Forces of a country associated with the United States as an ally during any of its war periods; is a citizen of the United States; and was honorably discharged. An honorary membership may not be granted.
