As used in this part: (a) “District election” means every election held within the district for district purposes, but does not include a formation election. (b) “General district election” means the district election for the election of directors which shall be held in each even-numbered year at the time of the general election and consolidated therewith. (c) “Special district election” means any district election other than the general district election.
