For the purposes of the bond election the legislative body shall establish in the ordinance, or resolution, one or more precincts within the boundaries of the district, designate a polling place and appoint one inspector, one judge and one clerk for each precinct. In all particulars not recited in such ordinance, or resolution, the election shall be held as provided by law for the holding of general municipal elections in such city. The ordinance, or resolution, ordering the holding of the election shall be published in the same manner as was the ordinance of intention.
