PRC §30405: (a) Notwithstanding Section 10231.

(a) Notwithstanding Section 10231.5 of the Government Code, no later than July 1, 2027, and annually thereafter, the commission shall submit a report to the Legislature that includes all of the following information for the preceding year: (1) The number of residential development projects that were appealed to the commission. (2) The number of appealed residential development projects for which the permit applicant waived the deadline for the commission to hear the appeal. (3) The number of appealed residential development projects that were approved, approved with conditions, denied, or withdrawn. (4) For each project described in paragraph (3), the commission shall include all of the following: (A) A description of the project, including, but not limited to, the number of units in the project and the percentage of units affordable to very low, low-, and moderate-income households. (B) The length of time from the appeal to the final action on each project. (C) Any conditions imposed by the commission on a project, and the reason for approval, approval with conditions, or denial. (b) A report to be submitted pursuant to this subdivision shall be submitted in compliance with Section 9795 of the Government Code.
