The director shall disapprove the application for a grant for the acquisition of an agricultural conservation easement or fee title in any of the following circumstances: (a) The application does not satisfy the eligibility criteria set forth in Section 10251. (b) The department has determined that clear title to the agricultural conservation easement cannot be conveyed. (c) There is insufficient money in the fund to carry out the acquisition. (d) Other acquisitions have a higher priority. (e) The application does not satisfy other relevant requirements provided by the fund source or in the guidelines, solicitation, application, or other relevant control documents, as determined by the department.
