LAB §1298: (a) Notwithstanding Section 1308.

(a) Notwithstanding Section 1308.1, no minor under 12 years of age shall be employed or permitted to work at any time in or in connection with the occupation of selling or distributing newspapers, magazines, periodicals, or circulars. (b) This section shall not apply to a minor who is at least 10 years of age and is engaged as a newspaper carrier on the effective date of the act adding this subdivision.
