The insurer shall not be required to issue a converted policy covering any person if any of the following exists: (a) The person is covered for similar benefits by another individual policy. (b) The person is covered or is eligible to be covered for similar benefits by another group policy. (c) The person is covered or is eligible to be covered for similar benefits under any arrangement of coverage for persons in a group whether insured or uninsured.
