HSC §50472: The department shall allocate the funds described in subparagraph (B) of paragraph (1) of subdivision (b) of Section 50470 as follows: (a) Five million dollars ($5,000,000) to the Bridges at Kraemer P

The department shall allocate the funds described in subparagraph (B) of paragraph (1) of subdivision (b) of Section 50470 as follows: (a) Five million dollars ($5,000,000) to the Bridges at Kraemer Place emergency shelter, located in Orange County. (b) Five million dollars ($5,000,000) to the County of Merced, in furtherance of Phase 1 to create a homeless navigation center. These efforts may include, but are not limited to, the following: (1) Capital and construction costs. (2) Contracting costs associated with hiring outside consultants to provide technical assistance for development of the homeless navigation center. (3) Operating subsidies for current homelessness intervention efforts located in the county, coordinated by the county, and provided by a nonprofit organization, community-based housing, or homeless service provider in partnership with the county or by county employees. (c) Of the funds remaining after making the allocations described in subdivisions (a) and (b), 50 percent of those funds shall be available for purposes of Chapter 2.8 (commencing with Section 50490), and 50 percent shall be available for the Housing for a Healthy California Program (Part 14.2 (commencing with Section 53590)).
