(a) A mobile body art facility shall meet all the applicable requirements in Article 1 (commencing with Section 119300) to Article 4 (commencing with Section 119312), inclusive, and Article 6 (commencing with Section 119319), unless specifically exempted by this article. (b) A mobile body art facility that is either a special purpose commercial modular and coach, as defined by Section 18012.5, or a commercial modular coach, as defined by Section 18001.8, shall be certified by the Department of Housing and Community Development, consistent with Chapter 4 (commencing with Section 18025) of Part 2 of Division 13, and regulations promulgated pursuant to that chapter. (c) The Department of Motor Vehicles occupational licensing requirements, Division 5 (commencing with Section 11100) of the Vehicle Code, also apply to these mobile body art facilities. (d) The local enforcement agency shall approve all equipment installation prior to operation.
