(a) The superior court in Los Angeles County may by local rule establish superior court districts within which one or more sessions of the court shall be held. (b) The superior court districts established by county ordinance and in effect as of January 1, 2003, shall continue to be recognized as the superior court districts until the court enacts a local rule as provided in subdivision (a).
