GOV §59182: If more than one legislative body has authority to conduct the proceedings or if the legislative body proposing to conduct the proceeding is not that which levies the tax or assessment for the payment

If more than one legislative body has authority to conduct the proceedings or if the legislative body proposing to conduct the proceeding is not that which levies the tax or assessment for the payment of principal and interest of the original bonds, the legislative body which proposes to conduct the proceeding shall obtain consent to the proceedings from the legislative body: (a) Of each city in which any of the district lies. (b) Of the county if a part of the district lies in unincorporated territory of the county. (c) Which levies the tax or assessment for the payment of principal and interest of the original bonds.
