GOV §56664: Where the commission desires to provide for notice and hearing prior to making a determination on a matter which the commission is authorized, but not required, to determine without notice and hearing

Where the commission desires to provide for notice and hearing prior to making a determination on a matter which the commission is authorized, but not required, to determine without notice and hearing, the commission shall order a public hearing on that matter and set a date, time, and place for the hearing. The date of hearing shall not be more than 90 days after the date of the order.
