(a) The Invasive Species Account is hereby established in the Department of Food and Agriculture Fund. Moneys in the account are available, upon appropriation by the Legislature, to the secretary for the purposes of funding invasive species projects and activities recommended by the Invasive Species Council of California. (b) Moneys in the Invasive Species Account appropriated by the Legislature for allocation by the secretary for the purposes of this part may be allocated without regard to fiscal year.
