FAC §61342: The provisions of this chapter shall be liberally construed as being complementary of, and supplemental to, the provisions of Chapter 2 (commencing with Section 61801) of this part.

The provisions of this chapter shall be liberally construed as being complementary of, and supplemental to, the provisions of Chapter 2 (commencing with Section 61801) of this part. If a provision of this chapter and a similar provision of Chapter 2 is applicable to the same person and subject matter the provisions of Chapter 2 shall control. If a provision of this chapter is applicable to any person and subject matter as to which Chapter 2 makes no express provision, the provision of this chapter shall control.
