This chapter also does not apply to any of the following: (a) Any livestock drug that is intended for, and that is used solely for, laboratory or experimental purposes. (b) Any substance that is intended for, and that is used primarily as a pesticide and that is registered as a pesticide under Chapter 2 (commencing with Section 12751). (c) Any biological product that is manufactured under a license issued by the United States Department of Agriculture or the State Department of Health. (d) Any drug that is required by federal law to be sold on prescription only.
