(a) Each of the commissioners shall receive one hundred dollars ($100) for each day of actual service performed in carrying out his or her official duties pursuant to law, but the amount of this compensation shall not exceed for any one commissioner the sum of five hundred dollars ($500) for any one calendar month. In addition to this compensation, the commissioners shall receive their actual and necessary expenses incurred in the performance of their duties. (b) The compensation and expenses provided in this section shall be paid out of the Fish and Game Preservation Fund.
