(a) The Superintendent shall prepare and submit, and subsequently post on the internet website of the department, an annual report to the state board containing an analysis of the results and test scores of the summative assessments administered pursuant to Section 60640. The Superintendent shall notify the state board and the appropriate policy and fiscal committees of the Legislature that the annual report is available on the internet website of the department. (b) The Superintendent shall post a periodic update on the implementation of the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress on the internet website of the department, and notify the state board and the appropriate policy and fiscal committees of the Legislature that the update is available on the internet website of the department.
