With respect to the investigative powers of the commissioner under this chapter, the commissioner may do the following at their discretion: (a) Make public or private investigations within or outside of this state as they deem necessary to determine whether a covered entity has violated or is about to violate any provision of this chapter, any rule or order pursuant to this chapter or to aid in the enforcement of this chapter in the prescribing of rules and forms pursuant to this chapter. (b) Publish information concerning any violations of this chapter or of any rule or order pursuant to this chapter.
