(a) Except as otherwise provided herein, an operator’s, field representative’s, and applicator’s licenses shall expire at 12 midnight on June 30 of the third year from the date of issue. (b) An individual licensed in more than one category may request that each license expire on the same date. The date requested shall be the date of the earliest expiration. (c) An operator, field representative, and applicator shall pay a fee for the renewal of his or her license. (d) The board shall on or before the first day of June of each year mail to each operator, field representative, and applicator whose license will expire in that year, addressed to him or her at his or her last known address, a notice that his or her renewal fee is due and payable and that, if not paid by June 30, a penalty will be added thereto. (e) In no case shall the penalty be waived. (f) Upon the receipt of the fee the board shall cause the renewal certificate to be issued.
