(a) The department may distribute provider bulletins and other provider communications for the Medi-Cal program by either print or electronic medium, including posting on the department’s Medi-Cal program Web site. The posting may include information relating to the California Children’s Services (CCS) Program, the Genetically Handicapped Persons Program (GHPP), the Family PACT program, and the Every Woman Counts program. Communications on the department’s Internet Web site shall be posted in a timely manner and maintained on the Web site for one year from the date of posting. (b) The department’s Web site for the Medi-Cal program shall be appropriately maintained to ensure factual clarity regarding the program, to facilitate ease of use for providers, and to sustain the integrity of the Medi-Cal program. (c) This section shall be implemented on the first day of the month following 30 days after the operative date of this section.
