(a) A consumer damaged by a violation of this chapter by a core transport agent is entitled to recover all of the following: (1) Actual damages. (2) The consumer’s reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs. (3) Exemplary damages, in the amount the court deems proper, for intentional or willful violations. (4) Equitable relief as the court deems proper. (b) The rights, remedies, and penalties established by this chapter are in addition to the rights, remedies, or penalties established under any other law. (c) This chapter does not abrogate any authority of the Attorney General to enforce existing law.
