Consistent with the general plan for the unit, the department may enter into an operating agreement, at no cost to the state, with a qualified nonprofit organization for the California Citrus State Historic Park for purposes to include, but not be limited to, the following: (a) Managing and maintaining agricultural production. (b) Leasing individual groves for the purpose of managing and maintaining agricultural production. (c) Selling citrus fruit and fruit products at the park. (d) Using the proceeds of those sales for financing facilities and programs at the park. (e) Accepting and spending donations of money for facilities and programs.
