(a) The conservancy may award grants to school districts and other local agencies for any of the purposes for which it may award grants to nonprofit organizations pursuant to subdivision (a) of Section 33204.2. (b) Grants awarded to school districts pursuant to subdivision (a) shall be subject to both of the following conditions: (1) The grants shall not include cash grants of state funds. (2) Grants permitting the use of facilities shall be limited to facilities that are owned by the conservancy.
