(a) The district shall follow the design-build procedure described in Chapter 4 (commencing with Section 22160) to award a design-build contract pursuant to this article. (b) For purposes of this section, all references in Chapter 4 (commencing with Section 22160) to “county” and “local agency” shall mean the district, as defined in subdivision (f) of Section 21568.2.
