(a) The provisions of this article pertaining to the progressive design-build and Construction Manager/General Contractor delivery methods shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2028, and as of that date are inoperative. (b) The provisions of this article pertaining to design-build shall remain in effect in accordance with Section 22169. (c) A contract awarded pursuant to this article before the applicable portions of the article are inoperative shall continue in full force and effect until completion, including any subsequently executed changes to the contract, or termination.
