(a) The board shall not direct an election or conduct a review of any majority support petition in any bargaining unit where a valid election has been held or majority support petition has been reviewed by the board in the immediately preceding 12-month period. (b) This section shall remain in effect only until January 1, 2028, and as of that date is repealed.
