(a) In any calendar year that a treated wood waste handler generates more than 10,000 pounds of treated wood waste, the handler shall obtain or maintain an identification number within 30 days of exceeding the weight threshold. (b) In any calendar year that a treated wood waste handler generates more than 10,000 pounds of treated wood waste, the handler shall send written notification to the department within 30 days of exceeding the 10,000-pound limit. The notification shall include all of the following: (1) The handler’s name and mailing address. (2) The generator’s identification number. (3) The name and business telephone number of the person at the handler’s site who should be contacted regarding treated wood waste management activities. (4) The address or physical location of the treated wood waste management activities. (5) The date the handler exceeded the 10,000-pound limit. (6) A statement indicating that the handler is generating more than 10,000 pounds of treated wood waste per calendar year.
