(a) As a prudent business practice, a licensee shall maintain sufficient financial resources for adult day health care operations to enable each licensed facility to operate for 30 calendar days. (b) The financial resource requirement contained in subdivision (a) may be met, in whole or in part, by a line of credit, grant, or loan. (c) Whenever a licensee fails to meet the financial resource requirement contained in subdivision (a) for a period of 10 working days, the licensee shall notify the department of that fact within 48 hours.
