(a) The department shall develop a written notice for the purpose of informing any individual who requests information regarding admission to a residential care facility for the elderly that the department’s licensing analysts’ inspection reports on all residential care facilities for the elderly are on file and are available for public review in the department’s community care licensing district office nearest to each residential care facility for the elderly. (b) The department shall adopt regulations requiring that each residential care facility provide this notice, as well as the address of the nearest departmental community care licensing district office, to any individual who requests information regarding admission to a residential care facility for the elderly and to any resident of the facility.
