The State Fire Marshal, in conjunction with local fire departments, shall determine a fee, not to exceed two hundred fifty dollars ($250) per propane storage system, to pay for the cost of the inspection and regulation of propane storage systems required by this chapter. The fees shall not exceed the cost of this inspection and regulation.
