(a) The quality assurance fee shall cease to be assessed after December 31, 2026. (b) Notwithstanding subdivision (a) and Section 1324.30, the department’s authority and obligation to collect all quality assurance fees and penalties, including interest, shall continue in effect and shall not cease until the date that all amounts are paid or recovered in full. (c) This section shall remain operative until the date that all fees and penalties, including interest, have been recovered pursuant to subdivision (b), and as of that date is repealed.
