(a) The annual Licensing and Certification Program fee for a skilled nursing facility, intermediate care facility, general acute care hospital, acute psychiatric hospital, special hospital, chemical dependency recovery hospital, correctional treatment center, intermediate care facility/developmentally disabled, intermediate care facility/developmentally disabled nursing, and intermediate care facility/developmentally disabled habilitative shall be set in accordance with Section 1266. (b) Commencing January 1, 2007, the department shall give priority in conducting initial licensing surveys to each intermediate care facility/developmentally disabled, intermediate care facility/developmentally disabled habilitative, and intermediate care facility/developmentally disabled nursing. Upon successful completion of licensure, and upon notification by the facility that it is ready for an initial certification survey, the department shall schedule and initiate a certification survey within 60 days.
