(a) Notwithstanding any other law, upon application of the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the department shall change the license category of a general acute care hospital licensed to the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to a correctional treatment center license. No licensing inspection is required for this change of license category. (b) Notwithstanding any other law, upon application of the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the department shall change the license category of a general acute care hospital or any other licensed health facility located on the grounds of a prison to a correctional treatment center license regardless of the location of the buildings included in those licenses. No licensing inspection is required for this change of license category.
