GOV §9149.2: (a) There is in state government, the Historic State Capitol Commission, which shall consist of seven members, initially appointed as follows: (1) Two members appointed by the Speaker of the Assembly,

(a) There is in state government, the Historic State Capitol Commission, which shall consist of seven members, initially appointed as follows: (1) Two members appointed by the Speaker of the Assembly, with one member initially serving a term of four years and one member initially serving a term of six years; thereafter, any appointment under this paragraph shall be for a term of six years. (2) Two members appointed by the President pro Tempore of the Senate, with one member initially serving a term of two years and one member initially serving a term of six years; thereafter, any appointment under this paragraph shall be for a term of six years. (3) The State Historic Preservation Officer, the State Librarian, and the State Archivist, who shall serve ex officio. (b) Each member shall serve until his or her successor is appointed and qualified. Vacancies shall be filled by the appointing power for the remainder of the term. The commission shall from time to time elect one of its members to chair the commission.
