GOV §7924.005: (a) Notwithstanding Sections 7920.

(a) Notwithstanding Sections 7920.510, 7920.515, 7920.520, 7920.530, 7920.540, 7920.545, 7922.545, subdivision (a) of Section 7920.525, subdivision (b) of Section 7922.540, and Sections 7922.500 to 7922.535, inclusive, information compiled by a public officer or public employee that reveals the identity of a person who has requested a bilingual ballot or ballot pamphlet, in accordance with any federal or state law, or other data that would reveal the identity of the requester, is not a public record and shall not be provided to any person other than a public officer or public employee who is responsible for receiving the request and processing it. (b) Subdivision (a) does not prohibit a person, otherwise authorized by law, from examining election materials, including, but not limited to, an affidavit of registration, provided that a request for a bilingual ballot or ballot pamphlet is subject to the restrictions in subdivision (a).
