(a) The advisor shall provide an annual report to the Senate and Assembly Committees on Governmental Organization on the status of the program relating to the program’s activities and resources needed to implement and maintain the program. (b) This report shall include all of the following: (1) An update and summary of the program, including recent developments, strategic priorities, and upcoming milestones. (2) An annual fiscal report for the prior fiscal year summarizing proceeds to the fund and expenditures and grants distributed out of the fund. (3) A general evaluation to understand and strengthen the performance and effectiveness of the program.
