The governing board of a community college district may adopt rules permitting academic employees of the district to use leave earned pursuant to Section 87781 in cases of compelling personal importance. Leave taken pursuant to this section, together with any leave taken pursuant to Section 87784, shall not exceed six days in any single school year.
