(a) On or before January 1, 2025, the department shall include a report on its internet website that allows the public to view statewide-level four- and five-year cohort graduation rates for pupils who are individuals with exceptional needs, disaggregated by the identified disability or disabilities, as listed in Section 300.8(a)(1) of Title 34 of the Code of Federal Regulations. (b) For purposes of this section, a pupil who is an individual with exceptional needs shall have the same meaning as “child with a disability” as that phrase is defined in Section 300.8(a)(1) of Title 34 of the Code of Federal Regulations. (c) The implementation of this section shall be contingent upon an appropriation for these purposes in the annual Budget Act or another statute.
