(a) The Heritage Enrichment Resource Fund is hereby established in the State Treasury. Moneys deposited in the fund may be expended by the Superintendent upon appropriation by statute, for the purposes of this article. (b) The electronic registration form to be filed pursuant to this article shall be filed together with a fee determined by the Superintendent to be sufficient to cover, but not exceed, the costs of the department in implementing this article. The fees shall be deposited into the Heritage Enrichment Resource Fund. The fee shall be received by the Superintendent no later than January 31 of each year in which the registration form is filed.
