(a) For the purposes of this article, Article 5 (commencing with Section 17350), and Article 6 (commencing with Section 17365), “school building” does not include any building used or intended to be used by a school district as residential housing. (b) As used in this section, “residential housing” means any building used as a personal residence by a teacher or employee of a school district, with the teacher’s or employee’s family, if applicable.
