EDC §17070.73: (a) A school district may claim the entire pupil attendance of a charter school that is physically located within its geographical jurisdiction, within the per-pupil eligibility calculation in support

(a) A school district may claim the entire pupil attendance of a charter school that is physically located within its geographical jurisdiction, within the per-pupil eligibility calculation in support of a project for school facilities pursuant to this chapter. (b) A school district shall not include the attendance of pupils attending a charter school that is physically located outside of the geographical jurisdiction of the school district, within the per-pupil eligibility calculation in support of an application for a project pursuant to this chapter. (c) The requirements and conditions for funding charter school facilities in this section and in Article 12 (commencing with Section 17078.50) are intended to regulate only the funding of facilities under this chapter, and are not intended to expand, narrow, or raise any inference regarding, the nature or scope of any other law that is applicable to charter school governance, organization, or operation. (d) Subdivisions (a) and (b) apply only to projects funded with the proceeds of state bonds approved by the voters after January 1, 2002.
