(a) Upon the request of the consumer, the lessor shall provide the information as required by subdivision (b) of Section 1812.623 in an exemplar of the rental-purchase agreement covering the property specified by the consumer and shall provide the consumer with a copy of the proposed rental-purchase agreement prior to its execution. The consumer may take this copy from the lessor’s premises. (b) The lessor shall not obtain the consumer’s signature to a rental-purchase agreement if it contains blank spaces to be filled in after it has been signed. (c) A copy of the fully completed rental-purchase agreement and all other documents which the lessor requests the consumer to sign shall be given to the consumer at the time they are signed. The rental-purchase agreement shall not be enforceable against the consumer until the consumer has received a signed copy. (d) The lessor shall deliver to the consumer a written receipt for each payment made by the consumer.
