(a) As used in this chapter: (1) “Qualified manager” means the individual under whose direction, control, charge, or management the business of a licensee is operated as specified in Section 7536, and who is in possession of a current and valid qualified manager’s certificate issued pursuant to this chapter. (2) The holder of a qualified manager license is an individual who has applied for and received a qualified manager license, as provided in Section 7525.2, and is eligible to be associated with more than one private investigator license pursuant to subdivision (c) of Section 7536. (b) This section shall become operative on January 1, 2025.
